Charvi Budhdeo, a classically trained Odissi Dancer, Movement Theatre Practitioner, and Expressive Arts Therapist, melds the worlds of art and healing. She received her Diploma in Dance Movement Therapy from TISS, Chembur, Mumbai, and earned a Master’s degree, with honours (Magna Cum Laude), in Expressive Arts Therapy from the European Graduate School, Switzerland.

Charvi founded The Movement Spectrum in August 2018 with a dedicated mission to make Dance Movement Therapy and Expressive Arts Therapy accessible to a diverse range of audiences.

In just two years, she has made remarkable strides in her field, working with children and adults living with Cancer, underprivileged women and children, elders living with Dementia, and children on the autism spectrum. She has also facilitated Corporate Employee Wellness sessions for renowned firms such as BookMyShow, Dice Media & Allegis Global Solutions.

Further, she has held elective courses in Dance Movement Therapy and Expressive Arts at Symbiosis Institute of Design, and led a module for the School of Communications and Reputations.

Charvi offers one-on-one private sessions, facilitates private group therapy, and conducts ongoing group sessions.

Rooted in a deep belief in the transformative power of art, Charvi continues to spread the spirit and wisdom of the Arts. She is committed to creating authentic, safe spaces where every individual feels heard, seen, and understood.
